Mechanism of Healing SystemBefore, raid instances only enrolled maximum of forty players. For many guilds, they usually take somewhere between five to seven healers for Wrath instances. The mechanism of healing at the time was quite different. For instance, only one Renew could be up on a specific player. They could not be stacked by various priests. A separate healing way was a demand to find out assignments. It was a huge mess of figuring out who was standing with what group, which tanks were in that group, and which healers were best suited to do that. In Blackwing Lair, Razorgore involved two healers on both ends of the room and an additional four more expand at the various corners with extra healers on hand who would float around. It was not actually a cohesive forty man unit which was fighting. It seemed to be six individual groups tanking and destroying the trash that was coming in when hunters and warriors would run around and give a teaching clinic on kiting.
