Patch update 5th March 2012 Battlefield 3 RU

The new battlefield 3 patch may put your game into a state where it shows only energy bars / black screen when you start the game.
This can be fixed easily by downloading the language fix for the March 5th patch.

How to install the new patch:

First, Simply start Origin and let Origin update your game to the latest version.
ONCE THE GAME HAS BEEN UPDATED TO LATEST VERSION, download the language files from one of the below download links and place it into your installation directory.

1) Download the File from the link that you received with your CD key.   (Or you can use the megaupload links)

NOTE:  You need to download English files always, this mean if you want to use example  Spanish  you need to download the English and Spanish and extract both languages to the installation folder, them do the regedit changes to Spanish.

Step 2. Now open the file that you have downloaded extract it and Paste "Data" and "Update" folders as well, "GDFBinary_en_US.dll" files "YOUR PROGRAM FILES FOLDER Origin Origin Games Battlefield 3***** "

Note:  Don't delete any Russian file!!!!

Step 3. We have create a simple regedit file that will do this regedit changes automatic for you

Once you've put both language packs inside the installation folders, you can run our language changer. But please mind that you must run it as ADMINISTRATOR otherwise it won't work. Select your desired language, click 'Activate' and the game will function perfectly in the language you’ve chosen.

Just use the languages that you need, to confirm that is working check your regedit to check if the changes are correct

Step 3 (alternative way). Helps to change Battlefield 3 language manually in the registry — alternatively to our language changer software.

Press "Start", type ‘regedit’ in the ‘Run’ field (or simply use key combination Windows + R and type ‘regedit’ ) and then press enter.
In the open window find the folders: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeEA GamesBattlefield 3] replace with the following.Just replace the highlighted fields.

In the field 'GDFBinary' it's necessary to change the end of the line 'GDFBinary_RU_ru.dll' into

• English: GDFBinary_en_US.dll
• German: GDFBinary_de_DE.dll
• French: GDFBinary_fr_FR.dll
• Italian: GDFBinary_it_IT.dll
• Spanish: GDFBinary_es_ES.dll
• Polish: GDFBinary_pl_PL.dll
• Japanese: GDFBinary_ja_JP.dll

and in the field 'Locale' the value 'ru_RU' should be changed into

• English: 'en_US'
• German: 'de_DE'
• French: 'fr_FR'
• Italian: 'it_IT'
• Spanish: 'es_ES'
• Polish: 'pl_PL
• Japanese: 'ja_JP'

4) Press "Start", type ‘regedit’ in the ‘Run’ field (or simply use key combination Windows + R and type ‘regedit’ ) and then press enter.
In the open window find the folders: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeOrigin GamesDGR01609244] replace with the following. Just replace the highlighted fields.

in the field 'Locale' the value 'ru_RU' should be changed into
